Gyan was previously based in New York, where she held editor roles at Man Repeller and BuzzFeed. She has written for The Cut, Vox, VICE, The Guardian, SELF, Apartment Therapy, Refinery29, Lifehacker, and more, covering lifestyle, culture, relationships, and everything in between.
Just Friends: On the joy, influence and power of friendship will be published by Ultimo Press in February 2024. The North American adaption of her book, Friendship First, will be published by The Experiment in September 2024.
